Closure on spring tutoring
For the last few months, I've been tutoring 6th through 9th graders in various subjects. I thought I would enjoy it, but I found that I love it even far more than I had expected. My students and I enjoy the time we spend together, and they've made good progress. I've proposed to my 6th and 7th grade students that we form a book club over the summer. They all seem enthusiastic about it. My thought is that we would meet once a week (maybe twice) at 7pm on zoom. I'll be looking for students to work with this summer. In the fall, I'll be back in class of my own so I can get the degree that I need in order to work as a classroom teacher which is where I want to be ultimately.
